Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel
-Merchandise inventory at retail locations at time of delivery and ensure that all products are displayed correctly on shelves.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, such as transit vans or box trucks
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60lbs)
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
- Ability to follow directions and navigate efficiently using GPS or maps
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
