Daikyonishikawa USA is Hiring a 2nd Shift Paint Kitchen Technician Near Madison, AL

BASIC FUNCTION: Paint Kitchen Technicians work as a team and are responsible for the storage, handling, loading, and delivery of paint and related materials to the point of use. Kitchen Techs maintain materials and standards required to meet production demand. Kitchen Techs are responsible for pre-shift and post-shift activities that support the standard production shifts. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work safely in a controlled environment of paint, and chemical storage/movement
Observes all of requirements of PPE and Safety related training at all times.
Sets up and operate paint mixing and delivery systems feeding paint application processes.
Ensures standard work, condition checks, and documentation. Attention to detail a must.
Performs routine cleaning and PM of operating areas and systems.
Monitors and reports inventory levels of paint and related materials

PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIP: Upper management, fellow associates.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Paint experience be it paint preparation or application
Automotive experience a plus
Self-directed and motivated to work in a team environment
Knowledge of painting operations
Experience in fluid delivery, pumps, regulators, tanks a plus
Skills with basic hand tools and operation
