Fence Installer (Independent Contractor)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fence Installer to join Bespoke Fence as an independent contractor. As a Fence Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of fences (cedar, composite, vinyl, and steel,) ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and durability. The ideal candidate should have experience in fence installation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to do manual work. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

1. Fence Installation: Install a variety of fences, including but not limited to cedar, composite, vinyl, and steel based on project specifications.
2. Measurements and Layout: Accurately measure and mark fence lines, ensuring precise placement and alignment.
3. Material Handling: Load and unload materials, transport them to the worksite, and organize tools and equipment for efficient installation.
4. Post Setting and Foundation Work: Dig post holes, set posts in concrete, and ensure proper alignment and stability.
5. Cutting and Customization: Cut and customize materials to fit specific project requirements, using appropriate tools.
6. Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets established standards for safety, aesthetics, and functionality.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with team members, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project completion.

Job Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience as a Fence Installer, with a demonstrated ability to install various types of fences.
2. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, digging, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
3. Knowledge: Familiarity with different fence materials, tools, and installation techniques. Understanding of safety protocols and guidelines.
4. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and installations.
5. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients.
6. Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to completing projects within specified timelines.
7. Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
8. Tools and Truck: Must provide your own tools and transportation to and from job sites.
9. General Liability Insurance: Must have general liability insurance coverage.
10. Independent Contractor Status: This role is designated as an independent contractor position.
11. Must be authorized to work in the US.
