We are seeking to hire an Electrician to join our team. Experience preferred, but not mandatory. Donwar Electric is a family owned and operated company located in Piedmont that is looking to expand due to growing demand. We are proud to offer commercial, residential and remodel services to Oklahoma City and surrounding areas.

As a member of the Donwar Electric team, you will gain on the job training under a licensed contractor.

Responsibilities for Electrician

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
• Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information
• Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs

Qualifications for Electrician

• Valid driver's license in state of practice
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel
• Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
• Willing to work overtime
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
• Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Experience:

• Electrical experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

• Tulsa, OK: Relocate before starting work (Required)
