General Engineer

Clean Air Engineering, a leading provider of air pollution control solutions, is seeking Engineers to join our team in Palatine, Illinois. These are full-time or part-time positions that will involve a variety of engineering tasks to support our manufacturing operations, instrument repair, calibration of FTIR, assembly of CEM systems, programming of robots or HVAC, facilities troubleshooting, analytical lab measurements, and consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support engineering and manufacturing operations by creating and implementing new processes and improving existing ones

• Repair and calibrate FTIR instruments and other analytical equipment

• Assemble and program CEM systems

• Test and optimize air pollution control systems

• Program HVAC systems to optimize energy efficiency and indoor air quality

• Troubleshoot facility issues and recommend solutions to improve safety and efficiency

• Provide consulting services to clients on energy or air pollution control

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering or physics

• Experience in a multi-tasking engineering roles

• Experience with instrument repair, FTIR calibration, HVAC programming, or facilities troubleshoot and improvements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 entry level graduate engineers. Higher based on relevant experience.
