POSITION SUMMARY

The position of Custom Solutions Production Lead is responsible for leading, coordinating, and assisting Custom Solutions technicians in fabrication, assembly, and inspection processes in Custom Solutions. This position is also responsible for facilitating technician trainings and ensuring processes are followed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate Custom Solutions technicians
• Facilitate completion of production schedule through coordination of associates and equipment
• Assist in production order management; BOMs, routings, instructions
• Ensure quality processes, SOP, and safety guidelines are followed
• Promoting the use of process approach and risk-based thinking
• Conduct Custom Solutions trainings for technicians and ensure adherence to certification programs requirements
• Perform applicable Custom Solutions tasks
• Assembly of fluid components per standard process
• Picking production orders from warehouse inventory
• Final inspection and packaging of assemblies
• Ensure stock levels are maintained for common production supplies
• Perform and ensure custom outsource product inspections are performed per process
• Perform and ensure rental equipment inspection and check ins are performed per process
• Perform and ensure adherence to equipment maintenance and calibration schedules and records per processes
• Operating of power tools
• Safe use and care of equipment
• Maintaining and cleaning shared workspace
• Improving the Custom Solutions processes and workspace

Education

• High school education

Experience

• 1-2 years of hands-on mechanical experience
• Fast-paced production environment

• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and without close supervision
• Use of gauges, calipers, and measuring devices
• Basic understanding of fluid systems and products
• Basic math skills
• Packaging goods for shipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Trade skills—job shop or high-volume production
• Ability to interpret P&ID’s
• Basic electrical knowledge

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
