Position Summary:
Are you seeking a change from the anonymity of large casino/hotel settings? Tired of long commutes from Employee Parking? Desire a Day Shift schedule and weekends off? If you're looking for a supportive family-like team environment where your contributions matter, look no further. Join us as a Housing Manager and take charge of managing event housing with precision and innovation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client-related matters, ensuring seamless communication and satisfaction.
  • Thoroughly review event history to ensure accurate contract formulation for ongoing events.
  • Master the details of hotel contracts, understanding crucial elements essential for successful event operations.
  • Collaborate closely with hotel contacts using Passkey’s Reservation Management System to create and oversee room blocks, including individual hotel and sub-block construction and website customization.
  • Skillfully manage hotel block inventory to ensure availability through sell-through dates and address any block pattern challenges.
  • Conclude events by reconciling master accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Foster effective collaboration with your designated Housing Coordinator to enhance guest experiences.
  • Participate in client meetings and conference calls as required.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high productivity.
  • Proactively anticipate and address client needs and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate accountability by meticulously reviewing personal and team work for precision and quality.
  • Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000-$55,000

  • Hotel or Group Reservations, Group sales, Hotel Front office, Convention or Event Services experience.
  • Ability to develop reports and business correspondence in a professional manner. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the sales and event operations as well as clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations
  • Dependable, self-motivated, professional person who works independently with variety of people.
  • Proficiency with basic computer programming, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Passkey, Reglink/GroupMAX, registration or property management systems.
  • Understanding of hotel contract terms and conditions.
  • Some travel may be required.
