Master's Academy Arts & Academics is Hiring a Part Time Art Teacher Near Marietta, GA
Master's Academy is a homeschool partnership in Marietta, GA providing arts classes on Mondays. We partner with families as they homeschool their children.
We are seeking a part time teacher's art teacher on Mondays for the 2024-2025 school year. We need an art teacher on Monday afternoons (1230-330) to teach technique driven art classes (Drawing, Watercolor, & Open Studio) to middle and high school students in person at our campus in Marietta. The school year is from September through May. Additionally, we need an art teacher for lower elementary (K5-2nd grade) to teach art through a time period of history with the guidance of a syllabus provided. Elementary art classes are from 9:00am-12:00pm, also on Mondays.
An ideal candidate would have a degree in art or education with experience teaching art in the classroom to various age groups. The art teacher should be able to provide examples of their art portfolio and explain their art classroom environment. We need someone who can commit for the school year, is dependable and is flexible. There is a possibility for additional hours substituting and/or assisting when the need arises on other days of the week.
We are scheduling phone interviews now and then in person interviews as soon as possible.
