Immaculata-La Salle High School located in Miami (Coconut Grove), Florida has an immediate opening for a full-time High School Theology Teacher to teach Catholicism. This person must be passionate about theology and able to help students learn about and grow in the Catholic faith. The Theology teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree required in Religious Studies, Campus Ministry, Divinity or related field preferrably from a Catholic university with experience in teaching at a high school level preferred
• Master's Degree in Religious Studies, Campus Ministry, Divinity is required; must be willing to begin working to attain one if you do not have one, as the position requires a Master's Degree.
• Archdiocese of Miami Catechetical Certification preferred
• Knowledge and skill in use of instructional technology, including iPads, in the classroom.
• Must have knowledge of tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must be fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission, teachings and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
• Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Must have good classroom management and demonstrated ability to engage students.
• Must have a professional demeanor.'
