Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Part-time (25 hrs/wk)

Overview

St. Agnes Parish is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist with secretarial and administrative professional support to the Parish office.

Job Responsibilities

• Answer routine inquiries by phone and/or email and direct calls staff members
• Provide general administrative and clerical support
• Responsible for coordination and distribution of various scheduling including but not limited to Priests, Volunteers, Homebound & Nursing Home Visits, etc.
• Open and distribute all mail
• Establish and maintain up-to-date offertory filing systems in Parish Soft.
• Create Excel sheets for offertory and miscellaneous weekly income.
• Register volunteers in Volgistic and Virtus; and assist with training, fingerprinting, and other risk management duties.
• Assist parishioners with mass intentions and other needs
• Prepare as needed labels and letters/invitations for mailings
• Provide support to Weekly Bulletin team and update Parish Website
• Order and take stock of office supplies
• Other tasks as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 or more years experience in similar role.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize and meet deadline.
• Excellent communications skills both written and oral
• Computer skills, including MS Office software (Word, Publisher, Outlook, SharePoint on the Cloud) and Google Sheets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
