Busy Private Practice OBGYN Practice in Fort Worth, Texas seeks MD or DO to join us.
Position Details:

Must be licensed in the state of Texas to practice medicine.
Collegial Group with over 70 years of experience.
Hospitalist Coverage, Joining to have call of 1/6
NP Support in Office

Job Duties would include providing essential services, such as:

Prescribing oral contraceptives
Performing routine gynecological examinations
Screening for breast cancer
Providing pre- and post-natal care to babies and mothers
Taking comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic medical histories
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating disease risk factors which are specific to women
Educating patients on available forms of contraception
Prescribing contraception/medication
Evaluating physical and social environmental risks which could impact childbearing
Inserting long-acting reversible contraception tools such as intrauterine devices or implanted devices
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating sexually transmitted diseases
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
Working alongside OBGYN physicians
Educating and counseling patients about menopause
Assisting patients through the perinatal period
Performing primary care procedures like pap smears and endometrial biopsies
Monitoring fetal activity
Collaborating with health care providers to effectively manage high-risk pregnancies
