Eagle Materials is Hiring a Corporate ERP Operations Specialist Near Dallas, TX

P o sition Purpose
The Corporate ERP Operations Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of our manufacturing processes and systems. This position requires experience and knowledge in SCM systems including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout our manufacturing operations process.
E ssential Position Functions
P rincipal Accountabilities
  • Oversee the integration and optimal use of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and local MES systems within manufacturing operations. Ensure these systems effectively support planning processes and work execution, maximizing system capabilities.
  • Effectively manage all supply chain functions within the ERP, including demand planning, production scheduling, & inventory management (raw material, finished goods, and repair parts).
  • Lead training initiatives to develop the operations team's proficiency in utilizing ERP and MES systems. Ensure team members are fully equipped to leverage system capabilities, enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide support to functional users in their day-to-day operations by resolving system issues, providing training, and ensuring the adoption of leading practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities within manufacturing planning and execution. Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Define, develop, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing planning and execution. Use data-driven insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and manage projects related to system upgrades, process improvements, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with IT, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure the manufacturing systems align with overall business objectives. Act as a liaison between technical teams and manufacturing to ensure clear communication and alignment.
P o sition Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Cement or Concrete & Aggregates industry.
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and successfully managing projects in a manufacturing context.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and find effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
