Erosion Control Foreman
Compensation: $ TBD/HR depending on experience, year-round work, opportunity for advancement, snow removal

As an Erosion Control Foreman, you will have the opportunity to coordinate, run, and execute large projects with your own crew with limited management assistance/supervision. To be successful in this position an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily:
· Report directly and effectively with immediate supervisor/manager
Known as the 10/2 rule, Foreman are to report to supervisors at 10am and 2pm regarding scheduled duties, project status, etc. This is also your time to address issues on site or any concerns you may have.
· Able to submit daily field logs, accidents reports, near miss reports, repair orders, maintenance requests, and other forms via electronic forms
Communication is key. iPads are assigned to foremen as an asset to facilitate access to company policies and procedures as well as direct form of communication with supervisors, managers, and office personnel. To be used daily and to report as accurately as possible.
· Able to operate trucks and trailers to transport material safely and effectively. Skid steers, trenchers, and other equipment knowledge is a plus
· Housekeeping
Cleanliness prevents accidents and unwanted illnesses. Ability to maintain cleanliness of company property and caring for company property will help keep everyone healthy and safe in the work environment.
· Able to train crew members on proper equipment usage, maintenance and safety as needed
· Knowledge of material, planting/construction techniques, ability to read plans and do material take offs are a plus and highly commended
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to work long hours 5-6 days a week
· Work in all types of weather
· Able to lift 50 pounds multiple times a day
Other Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license
· Maintain ability to legally operate vehicles and qualify for company auto insurance
· Responsible
· Self-driven
· Goal-oriented
