PAY RATE: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour WORK LOCATION: Breckenridge Brewery - Littleton, CO SHIFT: Varies (Day and Afternoon Shift) ROLE SUMMARY: Complete all day-to-day activities associated with filtration and finishing of beer. This position reports to the Fermentation Manager. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Basic operation and understand Centrifuge, Flash Pasteurizing Skid, Polishing Filter, and Water Additions Monitor and record turbidity, CO2, N2, and DO levels during fermentation Monitor and set glycol control for BBV Sanitary injection and blending of post filtration adjuncts (extracts, juice) Nitrogen Carbonation process Dumping yeast/hops prior to filtration Understand and adhere to safety and quality standards Maintain cleaning standards Fermentation/CF/BBV CIP and sanitation, including CO2 scrubbing Complete necessary audits Communicate with brewhouse, production, lab, and logistics daily Alert shift leader or management for quality or safety concerns Basic Obeer duties Assisting with barrel aged projects Assisting with Dry Hop Additional duties may be assigned SKILLS & ABILITIES: Proper use of PPE Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Ability to work at a fast pace and in high pressure situations Strong attention to detail Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Strong work ethic, self-starter Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation High standards of quality and accuracy Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills Positive attitude and strong team spirit Follow standard operating procedures Adhering to established guidelines and recommendations JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in a cellar environment is preferred Ability to carry/lift 55 pounds and work safely in a loud and/or hot work environment Must be able to crouch, bend, lift, stoop, and reach Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more Must be able to work in hot, wet, loud environment Ability to work with hazardous materials Must be able to work around steam, electricity, harsh chemicals, and solvents Must be flexible to work morning, afternoon, and midnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
