Job Qualifications:

Education: Must be 21 years of age, and have:

(A) Associate degree in nursing, healthcare management;

(B) Bachelor's degree in psychology, gerontology, nursing, or related field; or

(C) Proof of graduation from high school or equivalency and at least one year of experience; and

Licensure: Successfully completed a 24-hour Assisted Living Manager's Course.

Experience: Minimum required 1-year experience working in management or in a health care industry.

Skills: Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills.

Continuing education regarding dementia care - 6 hours annually.

Transportation: Ability to ensure timely arrival and stable transportation.

We are looking for a Director of Assisted Living to join our team! The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN or LVN who is passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents. The Director of Assisted Living will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our assisted living facility and ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care possible.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the staff of the assisted living facility
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents
• Ensure that all staff members are trained and knowledgeable in the latest assisted living practices
• Coordinate with other departments to provide a seamless experience for our residents
• Monitor and manage the budget for the assisted living facility
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed RN or LVN
• At least 5 years of experience in an assisted living facility
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing assisted living facilities
