Handicare USA, Inc. is Hiring an Account Manager - Denver Territory - Acute Sales Near Denver, CO
OVERVIEW: This position will be responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue goals by selling acute care and long-term care equipment to institutions. This role will enhance the customer experience by contacting potential acute / long-term care facilities, educating them on product capabilities and selling Handicare products and SPAN products in an assigned market.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve targeted sales growth for designated territory.
Contact, secure and maintain new and existing business.
Independently formulate and execute selling strategies to sell products of intermediate complexity directly to institutions. Responsible for the entire sales process of product from researching potential Acute Care customers through the sale and placement of Handicare and SPAN products.
Educate customers on our product portfolio, product features and clinical outcomes through effective preparation, presentation and follow-up.
Establish an understanding of the portfolio's competitive differentiation and communicate this information to customers to assist them in product selection.
Establish an understanding of the complexity of our equipment and the clinical, ergonomic, and safety benefits they provide.
Communicate all account activity as required, such as customer visits, phone calls, quotes, in-services and monthly / quarterly figures to Regional VP of Sales.
Represent the company at trade shows.
Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
Work independently to drive sales growth and identify additional product opportunities.
Establish an understanding of our equipment from an installation and application perspective to be able to effectively communicate with facility staff and/or architects.
Communicate all account activity as required, such as customer visits, phone calls, quotes, in-services and monthly / quarterly figures to Regional VP of Sales.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred; and 10 years of sales experience in the medical / manufacturing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES OR REGISTRATIONS:
Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
DOT Certification as necessary
RepTrax Certification
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM Systems is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee may occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch during shift. Employee will be required to regularly sit, use hand to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull and or move up to 50 lbs.
TRAVEL:
This position travels locally 80% of time and overnight 25-50% of the time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position works in an environment with moderate noise levels.
