**Shop Assistant/Driver**

Shop Franklin Park, Illinois Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Position Title: Shop Assistant/Driver

Key Responsibilities:

* Adheres to policies and procedures and helps update and improve them

* Provides material, equipment, fabricated products and services that meet or exceed both internal and external customer requirements

* Performs fabrication operations as required

* Assists in maintaining tool tracking and equipment

* Assists in maintaining inventory including identifying shortages/overstocks of inventory items

* Receives/unloads trucks and correctly identifies and stores materials in proper locations

* Picks material from inventory to fulfill orders for projects

* Cleans and organizes shop for efficient workflow

* Drives company trucks to job sites and delivers material

* Assists in job site pick-ups/clean ups

* Maintains a good driving record and obeys traffic laws in company vehicles

* Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Valid Drivers License; Class B License

Other Qualifications:

* Must have excellent interpersonal and customer services skills, and maintain a positive attitude while dealing professionally with co-workers, clients, vendors, etc.

* Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment

* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
