During these times of dramatic change and consolidation in our industry among the large national companies, we offer the stability and growth potential that only an independent company can.Job Description* Prepare for security/fire alarm installations by reviewing installation orders; gather equipment, supplies, and tools.* Establish security/fire alarm system by installing equipment; running and pulling wiring; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.* Verify security/fire alarm system functionality by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identify and correct problems.* Maintain records by documenting installation.* Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices.Qualifications* At least three (3) years of experience in the fire alarm and electronic security industry; Knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), IBC 2006 and ADA.* Safety Management, Equipment Service / Maintenance, Functional and Technical Skills, Action Oriented, Electronic Systems, ADA Requirements, Verbal Communication, Dealing with Complexity, Informing Others* NICET Certification Desired and Encouraged.* Must have a valid Driver's License.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
