Pest Control Route Manager

Superior Pest Solutions is a Michigan based commercial pest control company that services all of Michigan as well as Toledo and Sandusky, Ohio. We have recently expanded into the Cleveland, Ohio area and are looking for individuals who want to work with our team that have good communication skills as well as a good work ethic.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Pest Control

• Perform indoor and outdoor applications for commercial customers.
• Conduct inspections to determine the source of pest activity.
• Select and build a solution of products and services to remedy pest presence.
• Perform pest treatments and install products to create a pest-free environment.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.

Customer Experience

• Build customer relationships through friendly, helpful, and courteous behavior during service visits.
• Listen to customer needs and offer solutions to pest issues and recommend appropriate services to resolve customer concerns.
• Identify and alert customers of additional service offerings that will provide value to the customer.

Position Requirements

• Successfully meet pre-employment background screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and undergo motor vehicle driving record check
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess or be wiling to earn/maintain the required state pest control license within 30 days or employment.
• Available to work Monday-Friday with a minimum of 40 hours per week

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Customer-facing experience preferred

Physical Efforts

• May be required to lift and move items when applying pest treatments.
• Other physical efforts may include but not limited to carrying weight, lifting, seeing, hearing, talking, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion/dexterity, and other physical requirements as required by the position.

Working Conditions

• Due to the environment, working conditions may include but not limited to exposure to chemicals including baits, gels and/or dusts; odors and fumes. Protection such as respiration tools will be provided.

Safety Measures

• All employees are expected to follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.

Compensation

• This is a salaried position starting at $41,600 per year. Salary will be based on experience and/or licensing qualifications.
• Two weeks paid vacation.
• Full-size company vehicle and gas card.
• Company shirts provided.
• Company paid cellphone.
