Job Title: Supervisor
Work Status: Full Time - Hourly, Non Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: The Supervisor works closely with the management team to ensure the best operating practices of the venue. The candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit to oversee all aspects of business operations for venues with both a food and beverage and entertainment/nightclub elements while striving to optimize the overall guest experience.
REPORTING: Reports directly to the General Manager
Responsibilities
· Establish and maintain high standards of customer service for staff, customers, and vendors
· Oversee all staff when supervising on the floor.
· Work closely with Management to ensure standards of operation are met and strive to exceed them.
· Maintain a positive atmosphere to ensure guest experience and retention
· Performs and executes successful settlement of staff daily shift financials
· Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety and New Jersey Alcohol Beverage Control handbook
· Any other reasonable duties as required by management
· Other duties as assigned
· Strong working knowledge of the venue’s extensive POS system, from set up and breakdown to back-office programming
· Day to day management duties
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge of emerging trends in the food and beverage industry
Desired Qualifications
· A Minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree (4-year) in Business Management or related field preferred
· 1-2 years comparable business management work experience including previous supervisory role
· Positive attitude, self-motivation and a smile is required
· Experience using MICROS
· Computer savvy and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
· Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekend, and holidays
