Visiting Nurse Association of Northern New Jersey is Hiring a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Near Morristown, NJ
Visiting Nurse Association of Northern New Jersey is seeking a full-time Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to be part of the hospice homecare team!
Responsibilities for a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Home Health Care:
- Provides skilled nursing assessment, planning and care to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families.
- Provides specialized hospice training to other staff, family members and informal caregivers to ensure adequate care.
- Applies specific criteria for admission and recertification to hospice care to establish appropriate levels of care and patient’s eligibility.
- Communicates information using current process and technology available to the organization
- 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Qualifications for a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Home Health Care:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred
- One year of acute care experience is required.
- Valid NJ Nursing License is required
- Valid NJ Drivers License and reliable car is required
- Hospice Home Health experience preferred but not essential
