Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers and clients. This is a vital role in our company as you will be the face of our organization when interacting with customers during deliveries.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual labor
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and provide exceptional customer service
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles, pallet jacks, forklifts, and tractor-trailers is a plus
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is beneficial
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
