We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair, with expertise in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, buses, and other commercial vehicles.

Heavy Duty Technician Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on heavy-duty vehicles, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately to ensure vehicles are returned to service promptly.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the service department.

Heavy Duty Technician Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy-duty technician.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in heavy-duty vehicles.
• Strong understanding of engine, transmission, and brake systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• ASE certification preferred.

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen – THC not included in the screening.
