Responsibilities:
The operation and general maintenance of the Hydraulic Material Handler based on prescribed procedures to ensure equipment does not incur unexpected downtime
Loading/unloading scrap metal to and from production equipment, trailers and/or railcars.
The role is also responsible for yard clean up and scrap pile maintenance ensuring efficient and effective shipping, receiving, production and material flow as well as assisting in the general operation of the facility.
This position requires someone with effective communication skills and someone that is a team player, assisting in accomplishing shipping and receiving goals for the multiple facilities in WNY
Qualifications:
1 year previous experience operating Hydraulic Material Handler or 2 years of operating excavators or other heavy equipment
