The Care Center of Honolulu is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Near Honolulu, HI

The Care Center of Honolulu is currently hiring RN's for all shifts. There is a $6000 Sign on Bonus if you join us full time.

Looking for Per diem only. Our RN's get paid overtime after 8 hours of work per day and after 12 hours, pay jumps to double time.

Primary Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager or Nursing Supervisor, performs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care given to assigned residents in accordance with established professional nursing practice as delineated by The Care Center of Honolulu and regulatory statutes. Complies with and enforces policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements.

The Registered Nurse performs assessments, planning and implementation of care to assigned Residents in accordance with professional nursing practice standards, Federal and State regulations and CCOH policies and procedures. May monitor, assign and/or evaluate care provided by licensed or non-licensed health care staff.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for completing assessments and monitoring of resident conditions, Infection Control systems, psychopharmacological medications management.
  • Passes medication, initiates intravenous lines and monitors intravenous infusions; performs procedural treatments as ordered by the physicians according to procedures and standards of nursing practices.
  • Represents the nursing department in meetings, as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
  • Conducts regular and effective nursing rounds and effectively follows up on any issues that arise and communicates effectively with nursing staff to ensure consistent practice across all shifts.
  • Effectively communicates/reports to the M.D., Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Unit Manager and other staff members.
  • Follows CCOH policies related to clinical management, documentation and follow-up, including the use of CCOH’s electronic medical record.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

- Graduation from accredited School of Nursing

License/Certification:

Registered Nurse - License in the State of Hawaii

Responsible for completing required continuing education to maintain current Hawaii RN license, per Hawaii Board of Nursing regulation.

Pay: $45.10 - $46.60 per hour
