Upper West Side upscale-casual dining 200 seat restaurant seeking experienced Bartender. We are seeking a team member that is committed to Hospitality and Servicing our guests as well as each other. Schedule - Friday evening, Sadturday Evening, Sunday Double, Monday Evening.
What we are looking for
Service Bartender - Applicant must have 2 years of experience and a knowledge of classic and craft cocktails.
Job duties include following -
Knowledge of all classics, craft cocktails
Speed – Be able to service 200 seat restaurant and busy bar.
Able to interact with high end, intellectual clientele.
Make syrups, infusions, tinctures, mixed drinks, and cocktails of all types to fulfill customer orders.
Entertain guests while mixing drinks, talking to customers about spirits and history about various alcohols (we have a strong rum program are seeking someone strong in this area) the ability to keep customers engaged and enjoying themselves.
Responsible for crafting original beverage menu items and designing new, innovative cocktails using the ingredients that are available.
Must keep the bar area clean and organized, maintaining all sanitation standards of the business and local food and beverage laws.
Update manager on the stock levels of bar items and items that need to be order.
