Bring your *Passion for Retail *to *our stores in the Gaylord Opryland Hotel* as a *Store Manager* with responsibility for leading a teams in *three of our twelve specialty/necessities stores within the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center.*
*WHAT WILL YOU DO?*
As a *Store Manager* you will support store operations by:
* Assisting with inventory management
* Ensure visual presentation and store cleanliness meet company standards.
* Coach and train associates on sales techniques, suggestive selling, and guest service.
* Ensure store is well stocked by timely receiving and stocking of merchandise.
* Perform sales transactions and complete daily reports using a POS system.
* Assist with recruitment and training of new associates.
*WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?*
* A minimum of 2-years retail experience, as an *Assistant Manager or Store Manager* in an retail environment required.
* Experience in leading a team of associates to accomplish goals and service customers. *Experience with training, coaching and developing a team.*
* A passion for retail, along with enjoyment from selling and delivering excellent service to each guest.
* Previous experience using a POS system;
* Basic computer skills, including MS Windows; math skills to complete inventory counts and register reconciliations.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
* Have the ability to stand or move around, and handle merchandise throughout the store generally; weighing 0-50 pounds.
* Be able to work various, hours, days, and holidays or overtime as business dictates
