Overview

The RehabGYM is a small, locally owned, physical therapy clinic and community gym. Our mission is to inspire and empower active and healthy lifestyles. Our staff consists of licensed physical therapists, licensed athletic trainers, and certified personal trainers who work collaboratively to provide a safe, welcoming rehabilitation and fitness space, especially to those who may not otherwise be comfortable in a gym environment. We offer as much assistance as is needed for our patients/clients to find their entry point to physical activity and begin the journey toward rehabilitation, function, and the lifestyle or goals they desire.

• We firmly believe that 1:1 care is best for both the patient and the clinician. As a clinician, your schedule will consist of hour long 1:1 sessions that do not overlap, so that you can provide your undivided attention to each individual patient.
• We believe that fitness and rehabilitation are on the same continuum of physical function. Our skilled professionals are able to provide every level of assistance along that continuum from acute injury to rehabilitation to activity specific training.
• We enjoy hosting, supporting, and participating in community building, health-oriented activities and events. We encourage staff to present opportunities within their specific areas of interest for us to support or participate in.

Responsibilities

• Providing evidence-based athletic training services including both rehabilitation of orthopedic issues and activity specific training/conditioning in health active people
• Completing accurate billing and documentation in a timely manner
• Coordinating care with other medical, fitness, and wellness professionals
• Team treating/training with physical therapists and personal trainers as appropriate

Education

Graduate of an accredited athletic training program required. The ideal candidate will also have a current Vermont Athletic Training License in good standing, although we also welcome new graduates.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have prior experience or strong interest in working in an orthopedic clinical setting and collaborating with other health care and fitness professionals. Interest in delivering high quality evidence-based care and ongoing professional growth to better serve our community health and fitness needs are desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
