The Center at Val Vistais looking for a dishwasher to join their dietary team! This is full timeposition with day shifts Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. Thisposition will have responsibilities as a Dietary Aide.

This is an entry levelkitchen position with on the job training, and no prior experience isnecessary!

Job Description: Theprimary responsibility of the Dishwasher is to wash dishes, additional responsibilitiesinclude, prepare and provide delicious, nutritional meals for our patients andto keep the dining and kitchen area in clean and pristine condition. Theseindividuals will also serve patients food in the dining area during meals.

Job Duties andResponsibilities:

·Prepare meals forpatients according to their dietary specifications

·Pass food trays

·Wash dishes

·Clean the kitchen anddining areas

·Stock supplies

·Serve patients in thedining areas

Education:

·High School diploma orGED

Experience andSpecific Requirements:

·Preferred thatapplicant have at least 1 year dietary and/or food preparations experience in askilled care facility

·Ability to work in afast paced and sometimes stressful environment while maintaining a calmdemeanor

·Must be able to readand take instructions and follow directions

·Must be able to workboth as a team and independently

·Must have goodcommunication skills and be able to read, write and speak the English language

·Must be able to bend,reach, stoop, lift minimum of 15 lbs

·Must be able to pass apre employment drug screening and background check
