Job Summary:
We are seeking an Inventory Specialist/ Call Center Representative to join our team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Serve as backup to order, track, receive, and reconcile drug inventory daily

· Prepare and send drug inventory to all locations as necessary with courier daily

· Track and send all drug assistance signature pages

· Order, receive and reconcile vitamin inventory

· Track daily schedules for insurance authorizations

· Serve as backup for answering phones timely and in a prompt, professional and polite manner

· Handle inquiries about accepted insurances, office hours, services, locations, exams or self-pay fees, physician information, etc.

· Triage all calls

· Monitors and answers the Referring Physician Line

· Notifies the Patient Service Representative of daily cancellations

· Schedule appointments accordingly (reschedules, recalls, cancellations)

· Verify all patient information and enter new insurance and demographics; updates patient information in computer system to maintain accuracy for Billing

· Request records (if not already available) from referring physicians two days prior for all new patients

· Attends staff meetings as required

· Maintains strictest confidentiality; adhere to all HIPPA guidelines/regulations.

· Performs other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· Able to read, write and communicate and present a neat professional appearance.

• Familiarity with medical terminology a must.
• Experience with computers
• Word processing and computer experience a must. Excel is a plus
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Demonstrate reliability, a pleasant demeanor and a willingness to perform the duties as required.
• Able to maintain and comply with patient confidentiality and integrity policy on all matters.
