The Alois Alzheimer Center is currently hiring an Activities Assistant.

Summary

The Activities Assistant provides activities for residents. They are knowledgeable in a skill, craft or training that can be used in providing activities to residents. The Activities Assistant is a member of a cooperative team providing care that respects the dignity of all facility residents and services their needs with competence and compassion

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform the day-today activities in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern a long term care facility.

Cooperate with other departments when coordinating activities to ensure that residents' total regimen is maintained.

Perform administrative duties such as completing forms, evaluations, reports, charting, etc. as necessary.

Hours are mostly weekends.

Qualifications and Skills

High school graduate or equivalent.

Previous experience helpful but not necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
