Stumpy’s Hatchet House is Hiring an Assistant Operations Manager (FT) Near Irving, TX
Job Type: Full-time.
We are searching for an outstanding Operations Manager who will assist in leading our operations, including reservations, customer relations, and event planning. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing front desk help, backend operations, and overseeing throwing coaches. Additionally, the Operations Manager pays close attention to the day-to-day schedule and ensures that there are ample employees to provide customers with the most positive and safe experience.
- Train and supervise Key Holders.
- Train and supervise front desk help and communicate with Front Desk Lead.
- Assists with communication & follow-up with the Events Manager to coordinate on staffing for parties, team building events, fundraisers, etc.
- Manage daily schedule of employees and customers.
- Guides management team to ensure a positive and safe work environment.
- Guides management team to ensure opening/closing procedures are done efficiently.
- Assists in managing the bookkeeping of registers and depositing daily cash.
- Maintains oversite of managing inventory.
- Solves problems under pressure while maintaining a fun, friendly environment.
- Ability to provide a welcoming and fun environment for customers.
- Motivate and manage employees.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) are needed to promptly return guest inquiries.
- We expect guests to be contacted back the same day of inquiry, if the guest contacts us later in the day, then the first order of business the following day that guest should be contacted.
- Attention to detail and safety.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
- Previous experience as a manager in a Guest-facing environment.
- Ability to solve problems under pressure while maintaining a fun, friendly environment.
- Ability to provide a welcoming and fun environment for customers.
- Ability to motivate and manage employees.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- Proven ability to motivate a team and drive culture to create results.
- Previous sales and marketing experience.
- Previous cash-handling experience is required.
- Attention to detail and safety.
- Strong multitasking & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with diverse teams.
- Management: 1 year preferred.
- Bachelors Preferred will accept HS Diploma.
- Minimum 40 hours per week.
- Full Time.
- Salary $35,000 to $40,000 annually plus bonuses.
