Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing personalized meal plans, and providing guidance on healthy eating habits. Your expertise in tube feeding, patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, aliment, and physiology knowledge will be essential in helping our patients achieve optimal health.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' nutritional status and needs
- Develop individualized meal plans based on patients' dietary restrictions, preferences, and health goals
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans
- Provide education and counseling to patients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in nutrition and dietetics
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient consultations and progress
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of tube feeding techniques and protocols
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments to determine nutritional needs
- Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations to identify nutritional deficiencies or disorders
- In-depth understanding of human physiology and its relationship to nutrition
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Dietitian
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dietitian (clinical experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and motivate patients
