Procurement Manager Job Description
Position Status: Exempt Full Time
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Operations
Brief Summary
This position will be responsible for managing the vendor network within their assigned territory. This includes all activities associated with ensuring that RSM maintains a vendor network sufficient to meet all client work orders. This includes vendor search (proactive and reactive), onboarding, compliance, and management. The Procurement Manager will work closely with senior managers to assist standard day-to-day activities. In addition, this position will be an integral part of the vendor management team to help develop an efficient, economical, and skilled vendor base.

Required Education and Experience
Supervisory Responsibility
This role is a supervisory position. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for supervising and guiding the team.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This job is in an open office space environment with considerable background noise and disturbances.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This is a largely sedentary role. This role would require the ability to lift files, open file cabinets and occasionally bend or stand on a stool, as necessary. Other regular physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, stooping, repetitive motion, lifting not more than 15 pounds, reaching, and typing.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with 40 hours of work minimum. Days and hours of work are the normal business hours from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This job involves working after hours and weekends to complete all tasks.
Travel
Travel periodically for training/meetings. Travel to vendor locations for meeting (10% travel).
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship at time of hiring or in the future.
