We are in search of a highly professional and customer-focused residential maintenance professional specializing in performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks at residential properties. Responsibilities

• Maintenance Repair: Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform necessary repairs to building structures, systems, and fixtures, ensuring everything is in premium condition
• Problem Solving : Efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot issues within electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other property infrastructure, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Project Management: Oversee and manage property improvement projects, coordinating with contractors, designers, and property owners to ensure smooth execution and high-quality outcomes.
• Preventative Maintenance: Implement and manage a preventative maintenance schedule to anticipate and address potential issues before they escalate, extending the lifespan of property features and systems.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, demonstrating respect, discretion, and professionalism when interacting with clients, guests, and property staff.
• Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergency maintenance requests, offering prompt and effective solutions to urgent issues.
• Supplier and Vendor Relations: Bids, secures, and administers service agreements with vendors and suppliers while achieving the best quality for products and services. And identify Silver Maple’s resources or vendors to serve as a point of contact during business and off-hours

Required Skills Abilities

• Proven Experience: Experience in a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role.
• Technical Expertise : Proficient in a wide range of trade skills, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering flawless workmanship
• Problem Solving/Troubleshooting Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting positively with clients, team members, and contractors.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing schedules, manage multiple tasks, and respond to emergency maintenance requests outside standard working hours.
• Discretion: Must maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality when working in private residences or sensitive areas
• Tools and Machinery: Adept with tools and machines

Work Environment
May work in various settings, some of which may contain hazards. Maintenance Technicians must be aware of the following:

• Work requires frequent traveling to properties in assigned area
• Must be able to physically able to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, bending, and working at heights or in confined spaces
• Schedule: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays to accommodate emergency situations or specific project timelines.
• Exposure to hazardous substances
• Proximity to flammable products
• Potential infection
• The noise level in the work environment could be above average.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a project
• Working in awkward positions, confined spaces, or at heights
• Lifting heavy or awkward objects
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or more with assistance
• Must have high manual dexterity
• Working with various tools
• Exposure to electricity, high temperatures

Required Education Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or related discipline required
• Minimum five years experience in property management experience or maintenance experience the hospitality or hotel industry
• General contracting or carpentry experience is a plus
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook
• Highly motivated
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• High energy and positive attitude
