Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline warehouse operations.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Perform heavy lifting as required to move and organize inventory within the distribution center.
• Communicate professionally and timely with customer to find and ship orders.
• Assign picks to Material Handling Equipment Operators.
• Perform quality checks and ensure trailers are sealed.
• Communicate with other DB Schenker affiliated locations and customers.
• Operate Warehouse Management System.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse leadership experience required.
• Strong computer skills and experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong leadership skills and work ethic.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Customer service skills a must.
