Role and Responsibilities

· Upkeep and maintenance of church facilities (main building and adjacent trailers)

· General lawn and grounds maintenance

· Ensure building is inspected and kept in accordance with local regulations (fire alarms, etc.)

· Coordinate with church personnel and vendors on any necessary major repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

· Manage the purchasing of supplies, tools and equipment for necessary repairs, renovation and general upkeep.

· Coordinate with pastoral team and other church personnel regarding ministry events, signage, etc.

The hours are flexible, however, hours must completed between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Preferred availability to attend RBC

· Passionate love for Christ and a strong spiritual life

· Friendly and outgoing, with a desire to serve others

· High school diploma (or equivalent)

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance

· Strong verbal communication skills

· Proactive in seeing and addressing facility needs

· Physically able to handle cleaning, lifting, climb ladders, etc.

· Able to work outdoors and well as indoors

· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

· Experience with:

· Facilities Maintenance

· Light handyperson work

• Changing light bulbs
• Light plumbing upkeep
• Painting

Any electrical, plumbing, landscaping, carpentry, painting or related knowledge and experience is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 22 per week
