Superintendent of Commercial Construction

R.D. Michaels is a commercial general contractor located in central Florida seeking applicants as follows:

Qualifications and Position Requirements:

· Organized and good at multi-tasking

· Effective, clear communicator

· Well organized with leadership skills

· OSHA, SWPPP and First Aid/CPR certifications

· Willingness to travel throughout the state of Florida

· 5 years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor

Job Description:

· Thorough understanding and experience managing the entire construction process. This includes the knowledge of complete site development, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and electrical systems, as well as scopes for ground up projects

· Reading, interpreting and thoroughly understanding all forms of plans, specifications, and contract documents

· Interacting and working with Subcontractors to maintain schedule

· Planning, implementing, and following through of daily, weekly, and longer-term tasks

· Preparing for and participating in subcontractor/vendor coordination meetings

· Capable and efficient use of Procore Construction Management Software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
