2nd shift Maintenance Tech position available:

Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts!

Responsible for the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery, physical structures, and pipe & electrical systems. Must work with other department’s supervisors, managers, and customers to help achieve the common goal of maximizing production and delivery of quality parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Maintains records of plant and completed maintenance.
• Visually inspects and test machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix issues.
• Installs and repairs electrical components, such as transformers and wiring of machinery and equipment.
• Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical building.
• Installs and repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
• Sets up and operates machine tool such as lathe, grinder drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualification:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED.)

· Four years related experience and/or training.

· Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Understanding of wiring logic.

· Experience with stamping presses, press brakes, lasers are a plus.

· Strong electrical background is a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
