!NOW HIRING MOVERS!! Seeking EXPIRIENCED Movers. This is a NON-DRIVING Position. Our Movers are mentors to our Moving Apprentices and also directly assist and report to our Team Leaders on residential and office moves.

OUR INDUSTRY-LEADING PAY STRUCTURE

• $15.50 to $17.50 an hour for non-driving Mover position.
• Tips: average $500 per month (approximately $3 to $5 an hour)
• Monthly Performance Bonuses $20 - $200 per month

Our Mover position roles START RIGHT AWAY with a paid training period. In person training program is lead by our Managers and Team Leaders who were formerly Moving Apprentices and Movers. We will fully train you, and then partner you with a company mentor to ensure your success here. You will be taught lifelong skills that you can use whenever you need to move yourself or help a family member.

Professional Movers.com in Walled Lake, MI is seeking EXPIRIENCED MOVER positions for our growing organization!

The Mover position reports to our Walled Lake warehouse and is responsible for being an integral part of our move teams. Our experienced Movers have completed over 100 moves and are mentors to our Moving Apprentices. Our experienced Movers directly assist Team Leaders on residential and office moves and are provided daily supervision and job instructions from our Team Leaders. We have been Voted Best Moving Company by Readers of the Detroit Free Press and Readers of The Oakland Press.

We are looking to make some MAJOR waves in the coming years in our industry! That's where you come in!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN EXPIRIENCED MOVER:

· Must be 18 Years or Older with No criminal background

· Must have reliable means of transportation

· Friendly and professional demeanor with customer and move team

· Must take direction and follow instructions as requested by Team Leaders

· Demonstrated ability to be completely forthright about mistakes and oversights

· Good physical ability & condition to perform moving services & lift over 50lbs

· Stock moving trucks with necessary equipment for daily moves

· Assist Team Leader as extra eyes during placement of truck. Stand in safe position looking for obstructions like low tree limbs or low wires that could hit the truck and provide oral and hand instructions and warnings to the Team Leader/Driver when to stop and park truck.

· Open back of moving trucks and secure loading ramp into position

· Ability to place home protection kit inside customer home on floors & doors

· Know how to assemble, pack, and label various moving boxes, especially glassware in dish pack boxes.

· Inspect furniture before moving it to identify any pre-move damage & inform customer and Team Leader

· Ability to use picture boxes and paper pads to pack any artwork

· Ability to professionally prepare a grandfather clock for transportation by removing and packing the pendulum and weights

· Ability to professionally prepare a baby grand piano for transportation.

· Wrap and unwrap furniture with rubber bands, tape, and pads

· Ability to disassemble and assemble bedroom sets, tables, and desks

· Ability to pad and place Flat Screen TV into TV Box

· Maintain and submit daily timesheet with accurate records of date, in/out times, & locations

· Stretch wrap any light colored upholstered furniture.

· Place mattress and box spring into mattress bag and label room name

· Roll and tape up any rugs

· Communicate clearly with Team Leader and Customer of challenges within the customer home or office

· Professionally load a moving truck to maximize space while ensuring furniture is secure and safe during transport.

· Assist in cleaning and organizing warehouse and trucks when not assigned on move project
