Fearing failure, they won't try anything new or difficult, so they outsource the fun work to us. Presco's staff is expanding and we're seeking a high level manager with good technical, business and interpersonal skills. Our Director of Electrical Engineering must be comfortable in a fast paced technical environment focused on electronics, embedded software and mechanical/thermal design. We're active in high speed digital circuits, low noise analog, precision A/D and D/A conversion, FPGA development, and power conversion circuitry.
Requirements

• Electrical Engineering degree with 10 years' experience
• High speed digital, FPGA and low noise analog design experience
• Power electronics experience
• Familiar with schematic capture and layout
• BOM & ECO management experience
• ERP process experience

Responsibilities

• General business management: high level strategic planning; financial and personnel management.
• Customer first-contact: presenting the Presco value proposition, establishing technological competency and forming a personal relationship.
• Evaluation of customer needs and technology; writing the initial Statement of Work and business plan; making the customer presentation.
• Assemble mission-specific technology teams, supervise and direct the work, manage the schedule and budget.
