Who are you:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to join Olfactory NYC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the world of fragrances and a keen understanding of retail operations. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our store while delivering exceptional customer experience. You will collaborate with the store manager to drive sales, manage staff, and uphold the brand's image.
What you'll do:
Welcome guests into the studio and encourage them to explore and partake in the experience
Ensure a delightful customization experience addressing inquiries and keeping timely reservations.
Work collaboratively with the store manager to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
Assist in training and managing a high-performing sales team.
Motivate and inspire team members to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
Stay updated on fragrance trends, product knowledge, and industry developments.
Conduct regular re-training sessions for staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
Ensure store standards are maintained; cleanliness, visual merchandising and stocked
Guiding customers through the scent customization process
Embodying the brand’s voice and vision in all communication to foster strong client relationships
What We’re Looking For:
Passion for fragrances and a keen sense of the latest trends in the industry.
Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating a team.
Organized and possess a keen attention to detailProactive, creative, and self-motivated
Eager to learn new things
Ability to work flexible shifts - including weekends and holidays
Compensation and Perks:
Base pay: $20-22 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Customer tips: After an initial 10-30 day training period you will be eligible to earn customer tips
Additional Compensation:
Monthly sales incentives
Bonuses for working Off-site Events (optional)
