Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will support the lead teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Supervise and engage with children in various educational and play activities
- Support classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment
- Help with behavior management and provide positive reinforcement
- Assist in observing and documenting children's progress
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a stimulating learning experience

Skills:
- Experience working with toddler, preschool, and/or kindergarten aged children

-Knowledge of Montessori principles preferred or willingness to learn
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young learners

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
