Paul's Termite & Pest Control is a family owned and operated pest control company that has been in business for over 50 years and continues to grow in the Tallahassee area. We are looking for personable, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to become lawn and ornamental technicians. Our ideal candidate is someone who has worked an outdoor service position before, or who has extensive plant and lawn knowledge. The position is a full-time, in person role, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5 PM. Location will vary, as we service several counties in the greater Tallahassee area. You will be provided a company provided vehicle. This position pays a base hourly rate plus the potential for sales commissions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Answer incoming calls and emails, assist current customers with service questions, scheduling retreats, schedule estimates and new service starts.
• Perform pest control services on lawn and shrubs and maintain your own route each month.
• Maintain schedule of services, identify a wide range of lawn pests, plant diseases, treat pest & disease issues accordingly.
• Identify any additional pest related issues and sell additional products to customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess 1 years of customer service experience, with an emphasis on excellent written and verbal communication. Strong telephone and technology skills required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, background check, and have clean motor vehicle record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, crawl, climb, kneel, etc.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
