Large, multi-state, 25 year fire protection contractor is looking to hire a full-time fire sprinkler designer for its Las Vegas, Nevada area location. Candidate must be self-motivated, possess strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and have a strong sense of team work. Minimum of Nicet level II or III and hydra-cad or Autosprink experience. Commercial and mult-family experience also a plus. Salary depending on experience. Moving expenses available. Responsibilities:

Employee will be responsible for design and coordination of water based fire-suppression systems in new construction multi-family residential properties. You will be required to manage & design fire sprinkler drawings including plan layout, generating hydraulic calculations, creating material submittals, and attending coordination meetings as needed.

Requirements:

• Essential knowledge, skills & abilities required for NFPA 13 fire sprinkler design
• Comprehensive knowledge of code books & local amendments
• NICET Level Certifications required
• Proficient in extensive use of AutoSPRINK
• AutoCAD, HydraCAD, & HydraCALC experience a plus
• Ability to review construction documents, blueprints & specifications
• Working knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Word, & Excel
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
