In the past, to be a successful restaurateur, you simply had to have a passion for food and a passion for people - but to succeed as a digital restaurateur you also need to have a passion for technology. We believe in the joy of serving others, so we created Otter - to help restaurateurs succeed in online food delivery. Restaurants around the world, both large and small, including Chick-fil-A, Ben & Jerry's, KFC, and Eataly trust our software to power their delivery business. We increase sales, reduce order issues, and decrease delivery headaches.
What you'll do

• Broader and deeper contribution to a project/ program (a "go to" person).
• Owns a sizable part of a brand design effort and runs it for a sustained period without a lot of oversight.
• Takes on more conceptual work or full rebrands. Creates novel approaches to solving the well-known design challenges.
• Creates realistic time and action plans with stakeholders and contributors. Manages contributors to deliver on dependencies. Hits the deadlines.
• Creates design briefs, including goals, principles, scoping design effort, timelines, and dependencies.
• Guides teams in tackling design problems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field.
• 5-7 years of working experience.
• Proficiency in computer programs (Adobe, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, FIGMA).
• Experience in technology and design agencies
• Effective stakeholder management skills.
• Highly systematic, experience crafting best-in-class design systems for communication, web, and marketing design.

This role is based in our Los Angeles office location. We believe that people do their best work when they are together. As a company, we're in the marketplace of ideas and innovation.
