Newpoint Services is seeking a Team Lead to work Full Time. This position is based out of Indianapolis, IN. Schedule will predominantly be Flexible hours, but some overnight work will be required as well. This position does require driving and qualified candidates must be able to drive a truck with trailer and have a valid Driver License. Pay is $18-$22 per hour.

Job Summary:

The Team Lead is responsible for the oversight of the Project Services team and completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure staff is following all State and Federal safety regulations and safety equipment is in good working order. Responsible for training staff appropriately.
• Assist with coordination of job scheduling with General Manager. Responsible for daily assignment of work and equipment needed to the staff.
• Oversight of staff on job sites to ensure productivity and quality goals are met as well as working with the team to complete projects.
• Enforcement of all policies and procedures with staff to ensure progressive disciplinary procedure and chain of command is being strictly followed.
• Prepare written disciplinary warnings/documentation and meet with staff when appropriate in accordance to progressive discipline policy.
• Conduct yearly performance evaluations for each team member.
• Ensure staff is properly and consistently completing paperwork and projects.
• Actively participate in the hiring process including interviewing, skill testing, and new hire training.
• Assist in window cleaning as needed to touch up/quality control and fill in when shorthanded.
• Assist in regular reconciliation of assigned equipment.
• Ensure fleet vehicles and all equipment is properly serviced and maintained.
• Ensure fleet vehicle are kept clean inside and out.
• Ensure shop is clean and orderly.

Physical Demands & Conditions:

• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, reach, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
• Ability to work in year-round conditions (cold, heat, rain, snow etc.).
• Various pieces of daily use equipment have weight limits, must be able to meet weight limits associated with equipment safety guidelines.
