The Merrimack Valley YMCA seeks caring, warm and educated individuals for EEC qualified Group Leader positions to work with children between the ages of 5-12 years part-time during the school year from 2:00pm-6:00pm and full time hours during the school vacation weeks and summer.

**Branches:** Methuen, Lawrence, Andover/North Andover

**Status:** Part time

**General Function**

Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to be a group leader, have at least one years experience working with school age children in a licensed care facility, and a High School Diploma or GED. Individuals should be sensitive to the feelings and need of others, be able to relate well with children and parents, have a caring and friendly personality, and an ability to meet the childrens social, physical and emotional needs. Must be able to maintain a safe, clean, and appropriate environment on a daily basis.

**Education/Know How**

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a one year of working experience with school age children in a licensed care facility.

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Individuals should be sensitive to the feelings and need of others, be able to relate well with children and parents, have a caring and friendly personality, and an ability to meet the childrens social, physical and emotional needs.

Must be able to maintain a safe, clean, and appropriate environment on a daily basis.
