Role Overview

Kynetec is recruiting for a Research Analyst to join our Agriculture Team on a contract basis until November 2024. This role could be up to 40 hours per week and is 100% remote.

The Research Analyst will join our team of research professionals generating numerous syndicated tracking studies focused on production agriculture trends and behaviours – This includes row and specialty crops, seed, digital agriculture technologies and soil nutrition.

We are looking for somebody who is interested in market research and data, with a passion for agriculture. If you enjoy variety and challenge in your day-to-day activities and like working in a team-based environment, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities of the Research Analyst

• Match and code a variety of crop protection and crop seed types to a global code list
• Use internal proprietary tools and software
• Work closely with Project Managers on Market Research (Agriculture) specific projects
• Assist with data management and cleaning efforts to ensure accurate trends and behaviours

Skills you will bring with you

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• A self-starter who possesses great attention to detail
• Strong skills in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• An enthusiastic attitude and excellent teamwork skills
• An interest in Agriculture and/or Market Research
• Experience in Agriculture/Market Research would be advantageous
