Paralegal Position Available: Specializing in Personal Injury Law

Position Overview:

As a key member of our legal team, you will play a vital role in our client's journey towards justice. Your responsibilities will include case preparation, legal research, document drafting, and providing comprehensive support to our attorneys during all phases of litigation. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients, ensuring they receive the compensation and support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and gather medical records and police reports.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
  • Assist in case preparation for trial by organizing exhibits, documents, and evidence.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external parties to coordinate case activities.
  • Manage calendar, deadlines, case files and maintain detailed and organized records.
  • Support attorneys in court proceedings, mediations, and other legal functions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in legal software (CasePeer, FileVine) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to client confidentiality and ethical conduct.
